Yup, yup, yup...Gervase, Jenna Lewis, Tina, Big Tom were all brought in for interviews, and for whatever reasons did not make the cut. Gina, Hunter, John Carroll, Sean Rector, Christy off the top of my head were all considered.Colleen (yes, I posted that) and she turned it down, wished them luck. They went after Neleh hardcore after Colleen turned it down.

Agreed on Shane, it was either him or JT. In the end, they figured he would pull a Fairplay and want out right away. Plus, they were one Hero short. So, JT got it.

Holy crap, that would have been insane--Marquesas 2.0 would have been the most exciting thing ever. It sucks that they didn't pick him but I'm glad they at least considered Rector; good to know he's not completely off their radar. I'll hold out hope that they include him on Survivor: Guys Named Sean but knowing SEG they'll end up giving his slot to James.

On other alternates. Natalie was definitely flown out, and cut over Danielle. Shane was highly considered, but they feared him becoming a Fairplay part 2 (not wanting to be there) on his return trip to the island, so he got cut. Rafe was asked, but declined. Alot of pre ASS's were approached and spoken too.

Thanks for understanding...although no one has been forcerful. Which was what I feared happening once I opened my mouth. Hopefully it remains normal.

From all I know and heard, it's going to be a great season. I wish I can share more, and be more specific, but I promised I would be careful w/ all I say. As the season gets closer and begins to air, i might get more specific about things, but for now I'm posting what i feel I can, and avoiding questions that I feel will make me give to much.

No need to apologize; I actually want as few boot details as possible. But what everyone else was posting was incredibly depressing, so your info (which I would trust far more than the others since you were the one who said Sandra was in when everybody else said she definitely wasn't) was totally reassuring.

Although one thing I am curious about--do you know any of the other alternates besides Natalie (whether they were flown out there or not)? If you'd rather not answer, I understand.
